Abstract

In the paper inverseπ-extensions of the semigroupZ+are studied. It is shownthatπ-extension of the semigroupZ+is inverse, if and only if itsπ-extension coincideswithπ(Z+). The existence of a non-inverseπ-extension for any abelian semigroup isproved.
